"I just got my braces off this past Monday so this review encompasses my experience from the past 18 months.For the past year and a half, I have come in about every 6 weeks and I honestly don’t think I have had any negative experiences to note. All of the staff have been nothing but friendly and professional, especially the front desk staff. The techs and orthodontists (I have been seen by both Dr. Rad and Dr. Le) are always prepared. Either their memory is impeccable or their documentation is very thorough because I always feel like I am coming in where we left off. They also have very convenient locations for anyone living in the Rockville/Bethesda area and I love that even though I started my treatment at one location, the move to another location was pretty seamless. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but once all of my retainer follow ups are complete, I think I’ll actually miss going into the office.Overall, I highly recommend this practice. The orthodontists, techs, and other staff are top tier. If you are considering this practice for your child’s orthodontic needs, I can attest that they are also good with children just by witnessing some of the interactions around me during my appointments.Finally, just wanted to note that my appointments were always pretty quick after getting my braces on but they didn’t feel rushed. I was almost always seen on time as well."
"My 9-year-old had a wonderful experience with Rad Orthodontics! She had a palate expander and braces on her upper teeth, and the entire treatment took less than a year. On the one occasion she experienced some discomfort, the team got us in right away and quickly resolved the issue. The staff was always kind, accommodating, and fantastic with kids. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and highly recommend them!"

"As an adult with prior partial braces decades ago, I was looking for mild to moderate adjustments and Rad Orthodontics was great! The remote scanning concept was perfect for me even though the Scanbox contraption was awful. I just used the cheek retractor which was good enough. Efficient and accessible, Lum was my primary provider and he was excellent in monitoring my scans and responding to my questions. He was always courteous and professional - a real asset to the group! Overall, the office is well run and they all work smoothly together. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them!"
"I really like this place. I have been to other places to see about getting braces and was not happy about the intake but this place did every x-ray, took every photo and I even sat down with the owner to talk about my smile. Now I didn’t get braces because after looking at my smile they really weren’t needed but I did order retainers. I just really appreciate how professional they were and honest. If I had to get braces it would definitely be here."

"We have an Autistic child and switched to this practice when we needed to start braces (for the second time). Ortho visits are extremely challenging for our kid and the RAD hygienists are incredibly patient and kind, explain every step, treated our kid like a human being, and did not bat an eyelash at sensory issues, etc. Only as the parent of child with disabilities can you understand how much this matters."
